Mostly because chicks dig 5/8 studs as much as they dig bypass tubes. Also my Ford 9 inch axle has 5/8 studs and my TR beadlocks are drilled for 5/8 studs add that all up and my fronts need to be 5/8 studs and ya……wanna be race truck.

How much of a certainty is driveshaft modification with a frame notch?
    Double cab short bed.
    Dmz
Dirtking bump stop mounts with notch.

This is my plan, I know every truck is different.

Shouldn’t need driveshaft mods for extra bump travel. Droop is when things become an issue. USUALLY.

No issues with freezing up whatsoever.

The cool thing with beads is they adjust to change constantly. By speed, tire wear etc.

Beads will prolong tire life to an extent as well. Over time with weights you will come out of balance to a certain degree just because of tire wear. This can cause unwanted wear patterns.

if i remove the straps, bumps, and coilovers, my drop limit is the u-joint at the differential. and my compression limit is the driveshaft hitting the underside of the cab. that is with a two piece drive shaft. in general, if you have a one piece, you will be able to get more drop, but will hit the cab sooner. that is however, cycling about 24 inches of travel in total with a stock driveshaft, so i doubt you'll need to worry.

Interesting. These fit perfectly as far as cycling goes. Upper ball joint taps out exactly where the shock stroke ends. CV is barely binding at that point, too.

Tell me a bit more about balance beads. I had them in my rv tires and they still shook. I have a tire that has a cyclic vibration after balancing...shakes the truck on and off about 3 times a minute at freeway speeds.

Anyone here running a topper or camper on fiberglass? Looking for ideas to start designing something that supports the bedsides underneath so my composite bed and glass don't instantly shatter. Thanks in advance

That's right, forgot you had the whole setup. I have some ideas of building it off the JD frame brace/towers but I want to see what other people have done. I'll check it out!

Anyone add trac bar and stay SOA to get rid of axel wrap? I wanna go SUA but it’s out of the budget. Currently on U402 S1 and I get wrap anytime under load, did drive shaft thinking the shaking under load was bearing. Nope any suggestions?
