    Smart and strong method to attach tube at a 90°. Kudos. I would've never thought of the little end cap pieces.

    Also are your motor mounts solid lol?

    I guess being fully caged it makes no difference in vibes/noise...

    That’s because they aren’t solid lol. I didn’t notice big NVH changes with mine either. Solid is a big time different game though.

    One side of my axle appears to be 1/4 of an inch off front to back, is it worth elongating the hole in spring perch to get that back?

    Obviously if that hole is bigger than leaf pack pin there is a chance of shifting, although I would say not high once it's bolted up tight.

    Oh it’ll move. I constantly check the torque on mine and when I re built my setup I found my center holes were egged and center pins bent. There really is an incredible amount of force at that location. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend opening them up.

    20250104_084645.jpgfigured it out, pin was not centered/same as other side, top leaf is leaf with bushing eyelet so loosened pin and shifted it back.

    Interesting to see them flip to an Allen key bolt. That wasn’t the typical for Deaver. How snug is the fit in the perch?

    I’ve always wished Deaver would have taken fords idea on centering pins for the LT packs. One thing ford definitely deserves credit on is double centering pins. It’s tough to keep a single alive as I’ve been finding.

    Mine didn’t. But the axle will misalign. This time around I designed my perches so the center pin pressed into the hole when torquing the u-bolts down. I have to use a big pry bar to pop the axle off of them now. Hoping that helps some. But new pins are part of my annual prep regardless after previous experiences.

    How long did it take for your top spring to lay flat against the perch if ever?

    Learned a long time ago that even with proper torque and continual checking, leaf springs move. treat your center pins as a consumable item.

    Custom stepped pins like this are also difficult to remove from leaf packs, especially with dual wrapped ends.

    You will want to retorque several times during the first few hundred miles. It will all settle in. But make it a habit to check torque often.
    Yep. Pretty close to how mine looked as well. Dual pins wouldn’t do this. Singles, I don’t think it can be stopped.
