I have one and some parts from Martec I never ended up using. I'd let it all go for $350, baxter adapter; block off plate to re locate the baxter adapter kit etc.

Yeah same vin. But I got it figured out. These jerkoffs had GPS via telematics disabled in the asbuilt data. Turned it on and boom apple CarPlay nav is working perfect. OEM ford sync 4 nav doesn’t work, but that’s because it’s vin locked to sync 4 vehicles only, and subscription based. This thing was originally sync 3 so it just rejects the vin if you try to subscribe to it.

I thought there was a way to still get it going in Forscan? either way Sync4 being subscription is trash. Stay Carplay/Andriod Auto

That would be nice, but I’m not sure. It would just be nice for everything to be working though, even if I won’t ever touch the factory nav.

I’m down to sell one any time. Otherwise waiting to get the wife’s truck done and the kit fully dialed.

I gotta ask how do you get the cuts so smooth/straight? I used an angle grinder and touched it up with a flap disk but it still looked nowhere clean as rhat

Time, patience and experience. But mostly time and patience. Experience just taught me patience is the most important part.

As a guy that worked on Miller chassis for 4+ years, and co-drove in the 21 car for 2 full seasons including KOH, I can assure you that basically all of the Miller 4400 cars out there have AR500 skids skinned with UHMW. Yes it gouges and tears like crazy, but it softens hits like you wouldn't believe when racing through rock trails that most people don't want to walk up.

I questioned if this wasn’t the case. Coming down hard on a rock to solid steel is enough to break teeth and vertebrae. I can definitely see the UHMW acting as a substantial cushion.

Yup, it hurts enough with the UHMW cushion haha. It is impressive though how well it works to soften the hits.
