Because there's a QR code on the back of that POS, I have to assume that there will be a "CYBERTRUCK *CONQUERS* THE RUBICON" video on Youtube that conveniently leaves out all the winching.

I'm currently running Hammer Hangers with a crossbar tied into the rear X-shaped crossmember. I'm planning on boxing the rear of the frame this year to further beef up the rear of the truck, and I'd been considering the DMZ kit. However, the fab shop that I work with also does their own setup that boxes the same areas while also replacing the crossmember with 6 tubes. Obviously the latter is going to be stiffer, but it's also more costly and heavy, and presumably would prevent me from installing something like a water tank or under bed storage between the crossmember and bumper.

Given that my use case is mostly forest/desert roads and rock crawling, is it actually worth it to go all in or is the DMZ kit and the HH crossbar more than enough?

edit: Probably worth noting that part of why I'm hesitant is that I'd be relying on the shop (who, admittedly, has been very good in my past experience) to keep the rear of the frame straight after cutting the crossmember out. As an alternative, I'm also a little curious if boxing the bottom of that crossmember would have any real benefits.

No point in boxing the bottom of the factory crossmember. It keeps the frame rails in place laterally, and holds the weight of the stock spare tire. Boxing it would only benefit you if that crossmember carried weight, which it doesn't.
