Yeah he is crazy for wanting to sell it. I rode in it over Thanksgiving in Glamis. He got the rear shocks revalved and it flies through the whoops like butter. I think he wants to go full size but that costs big $$$$$. I am a newb here but after riding in that truck I signed on here to get info and advice and I am def going long travel :D. BTW Matt your build is EXACTLY what i want. Sick truck bro

They call that the ten thousand dollar ride. I had a chance to ride in Robby Gordon's trophy truck once and I didn't do it because I knew that ride would cost $500K and a wife, lol.

    Valving

What are some of you guys running for valving up front? My kings are WAY too soft. I'm not sure what they are valved at because the kid wasn't sure. I do know its a 600lb spring on it. I'm going to have them rebuilt here next month and will have then valved at the same time. Just kinda curious what you all are running.

Haha that is very true. Ten thousand sure feels better than my 0k suspension lol. I cant even imagine how bad ass a real trophy truck would be. And like you I dont think I want to know how good it feels unless I have $500k to make one

Pull those bad boys apart. You aren't going to know what you have until they are apart. Mine were soft too when I bought my truck last year, but the 5 lug is only running 500lb springs. I plugged up 2 of the 3 free bleeds, lightened my rebound stack(large shim) a bit and increased the compression stack slightly(large shim). Note: free bleeds stiffen up the truck by a large amount both rebound and compression. I did this because it was a cheap solution for my application by simply flipping some shims around and only having to buy a free bleed screw. Call up the guys who made your LT and ask them for the valving to go up from there. You'll learn fast that parts for kings are very expensive. You could see how bad my suspension would load up over small stuff.[IMG]

How often do you guys run your diff lock on a long travel in just regular desert and/or sand? Like when i went to Glamis I just left it locked the whole time. Its so fun to steer with your right foot. But i dont have long travel so i was wondering if that affects it
