Doh. Is it just the inner tripod joint that broke?

I have yet to toast one, but I don't think I wheel as hard as you.

How are breaking the axles themselves or the inner CV Joints?

Nope...I would be thrilled if it was the inner...the shaft is bend...badly. So bad it rubs on the lower coil bucket on the coilovers.

Before I badmouth anyone...I was running my old Hoes with the coilover spacer from AP before I bought the Foxs made for their kit. I believe the combo I was running was slightly longer than there shocks, but had no problems before I switched to the foxes.

Then I broke a driver shaft and upon inspection noticed it was bent and had been rubbing on the tulip for the inner joint. I due to the evidence in front of me I determined it failed due to the damage done from the old shock combo. Replaced shaft and thought to myself...the passenger side is prolly in the same condition.

    First broken shaft:

Fast forward...found the pass side bent shaft last night. I am going to remove it and the driver CV as well. If the driver CV (only run with the proper shocks) is straight and has no evidence of the inner binding, I will attribute the Pass as collateral damage from the previous shocks, etc.

I will keep you updated. But the good news is I found my vibe :D

And for those about to say it, I am not running straps because All-Pro says the Foxs are designed not to need them. Its in black and white on there website and they have defended it in a few threads as well, so if too much droop is still the problem even with there "special" shocks, its a clear cut case IMHO, and hopefully we can get this straightened out.

And yeah...I probably do wheel it pretty hard.
