True that, but i tell ya what if i were to do it over I know Ive found a few 2nd gens with bad titles that would have been a lot cheaper than buying from a dealer.

If I could do it all over again I would've kept the truck bone stock, bought a RZR, a trailer, and beat the fuck out of that thing.

The Raptor is just a more expensive starting point for building a true prerunner.

We use them in a lot of our VW's here at work. The DSG's are bad ass, there's nothing like shifting gears in .8 of second with the click of a button lol

And ya they're about 6k if in need of replacing

edit: and that's for a car with a measley 4cyl turbo.

supposudly you can build a t-56 dog box into one but they are around 5-6k alone. and add some air solenoids and such might be able to do it for around 7500

There's no air solenoids in the VW's

    1st, 3rd, & 5th are all on one clutch
    Then
2nd, 4th, & 6th are on another so there's not down time of changing gears and waiting for the clutchs to engage. Each gear is already on a clutch ready to go by the time you tell it to shift. DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox)

Oh nice I did hear of the double clutch. I know nothing of transmissions but I smell what your stepping in. its all electronic to the clutch then to a servo/actuator?

Essentially, its basically an electronic manual valve body with clutches.

If that makes any sense at all lol
