first ticket ever. I didn't go to court for it. I just sent in pictures of it removed and let it be. Normally thats fine but they wanted $150 instead so 6 months later i got pulled over and almost arrested for driving without a license and not knowing. so i paid the ticket and got it back a few days later

Had the same thing happen to me. My license some how got suspended from when I lived in FL. I hadnt lived in fl for over 2 years at this point and i didnt have CA plates and they were expired. I got pulled over in SAC and told my license was suspended and they impounded my car. The kicker is it was suspended in jan i got a CA license that May after and they never noticed when they issued my license. so I would have been in the same situation if they puled me over a block from the DMV. They have no mercy I paid thousands of dollars to get all that crap fixed.

has anyone considered or looked into swapping there c/o resi to the new adj. comp type from king?? was thinking you would be able to be valved for the dez and then back it off for dd ?

You missed 3 words. I did not say that you couldnt get bucked running a leaf setup. I just said that it is unlikely that you would because of rebound.

    Some things Ive read....

"the reason you run such little valving in a leaf spring set up is the leafs them selves and the bushings all create friction while they move. that friction is almost enough to not need rebound valving"

"leave your rebound as fast as it can, leafsprings have NOTHING really on most trucks to help push the wheel out"

"it wouldnt grow from too fast rebound, leafs need the fastest rebound they can get to work better"

"you WANT your wheel to always stay in contact with the ground, which means light rebound, but too much and the truck will feel loose and squirly"

All of this is true especially with leaf springs. Even in our linked race truck with a heavy 9" axle we ran very little rebound valving. No matter what I want the rear axle keeping contact as much as possible. 99% of the time bucking is from not having enough compression valving, rebound has very little to do with bucking. That's just my opinion, keep it mind I don't have much experience with leaf set ups, we almost always ran links.

We're not talking about TT's, so unless you are going to push you engine back 2 ft, it doesn't really matter.
