What do you guys do when your cam bolts seize?

 

I didnt known that you knew sean before this weekend, have you talked to him sence the trip ? he was a really cool guy shitty about his truck though

 

i didnt know his frame wasnt reinforced.. Sean was tearing it up.

I wonder if you outboard, can you run dual shock setup instead of a single 3.0?

 

mine took 3 days to get 3 our, with 20 lb sledge hammers, air chisles, and air hammers. said fuuck it and got the plasma cutter out

 

I had to cut mine and get new ones. they are pretty cheap from the dealer

 

i never met him before the trip, i had seen his truck for the longest time. when i saw the truck last it was still covered in mud lol

why do you have so much preload on your coils

 

Its not..its a 16" coil..and I have a flat plate instead of a raised cup..

I had an 18" coil and the raised cup..

 

Is it bad to have a lot of preload on the coilover? Would it make a big difference in performance or ride quality moving to a heavier springs and lowering the preload of a lighter spring?

 

Should I paint my jounce black?

 

I like it the way they are.

 

Red really doesn't do anything for me. I taped them off and stared at them for a few minutes, I guess I wil make the decision sometime today lol

 

You will have a lot better ride with less preload and a bigger spring

 

Yeah im not a fan of tha red! A gun metal metallic would be hard on ur truck

 

I've decided I'll be going Lt soon but will need tires fairly soon. Has anyone ran Lt on 265/75/16 that has pictures of it? Hoping it won't look ridiculous and I don't plan on going with a high ride height anyways.

I am very disappointed with my 265's im going with 315/70/17s in a few weeks. 33's will look good 31s are just too small.

I dont have any side shots at the moment but you can kinda get the idea. Not to mention I have the allpro fenders which dont have much of a bulge and they still look tiny as hell
