Also I decided that after this year (Dec) the truck is done. I'll be buying a FJ most likely for a DD and keeping it stock. Then going to look into bulding a Hot Rod / Rat Rod for a project. My truck is paid for so I'll keep it as a toy.

Dude that sounds rad. Those inline six motors are sweet looking. I have always loved older cars and I think it would be a cool project. I met my folks for dinner the other night and my dad said he was thinking about selling his Prowler and getting a 66 Chevelle or something along those lines

I think my hobby is expensive, then I look at all my coworkers who blow $$$ on watches, clubbing, Vegas trips, expensive clothes, BMW leases, ridiculous apartments and condos....

I look back at my truck and think, fuck that shit, ima keep my ass and my $$$ in this truck cuz it will love me back for it.

 

I had a 70 Nova with a 454 thing was a blast but a shitty DD. Cold starts suck.

How do you get into Volunteering for SNORE? I used to mann Road Crossings for MDR.

 

DR gets a Discount. I forgot the Rep's name over there.

 

I pretty close with the co-driver for SDHQ since before he got banned from here, and he put me in the pool for volunteering. I donate all my points to SDHQ, and I get to pull out race trucks as I do it! It's definitely a blast since SNORE doesnt allow chase trucks.
