speaking of bumps, i checked the o-ring on my bumps after i hit that rut and it turns out my front didnt even bump, all the force was pretty much 100% lateral which bent my spindles

 

Did they have nitro/oil in them?

 

yea, 150 psi

 

So there was too much nitro pressure for the bump to work effectively or that they wouldnt compress at all with 150psi?

 

its not that they didnt bump effectively, im trying to say that there was no up-force in that impact, it was all lateral, so the suspension barely even moved up, thus it didnt make contact with the bump stops.

 

seems like if it was all lateral you would have flipped.

 

Oh I see. I keep forgetting the context of the impact. Your right all that force was applied laterally. Not vertically.

Yea we were trying to figure it out right after it happened. So the passenger side "seemed" to not take a big hit. But the driver side was worse.

I did the same thing only I left the oil in the can instead of pouring it into a cup

EDIT: king might do it for you

Chromo, DOM, or just regular Mild steel just make sure you grind all the edges and clean off ALL METAL SHAVINGS
