Ok I have a question. Im going to be ordering some king tripple bypasses and im curious to know what would be better. Piggy back or remote resi. Im going to be running the giant bolt in bedcage and a 50t pack with custom hangers. The only difference that i see is how big the hole will be in the bed with the piggy backs vs the remote resis

Hey RJ Im not too sure about uniballs but I know your not supposed to hook a ground through a bearing. I see you have the ground clamp on the alignment bolt so it probably jumps through the frame but if it takes a path through the uniball you wouldnt want to melt the teflon inside

Remote resis are better. They have a larger diameter opening into the resis which lets the oil flow faster and cool the shocks better.

Chris, also since your getting new ones tell king to mount the resis on top and towards the inside, they can custom do it that way because with 35s you will rub.

If your getting them brand new I agree. You can clock any of the tubes any way you want, and you can have them get valving at least a little closer than off the shelf shocks, or tune one bypass into a bump. I bought my SAW's to get me by but when I get bypasses I am buying new for sure

X2. If they're new then it'll be free and you should have one free Valving too

I have a question for anyone, you always hear limit straps will stretch 10%. I planned out where my tabs would go on the rear of my truck and it can be adjusted from 17-18" center to center of tab holes so I am thinking a 16" strap will be right (16"+1.6" will put me right in between at 17.6"). My question is will leaf springs at the bottom of the travel have enough push in them to stretch the straps a full 10%? I wonder from when people were talking earlier about leafs not having much rebound

I always heard and went by the rule that they stretch an inch.
