yeah and i would have gotten it but for my spare tire setup we had to cut out the stock crossmember and theres another one with the carrier but its not enough support. At the time i didn't realize it was such a huge deal:frusty:
I have a few ideas on how to gusset the hangers or build a custom cross bar that basically does the same thing. My left hanger is starting to bend, its not too bad but i don't wanna push it and end up with my frame bending two different ways :p

This is Eddie's, it is moving over to my truck with the leaf pack. A custom cross bar The Truck Shop made. Wish it was a beter pic, but all I could find in his build.

Yeah I was looking through eddies pics and that seems like the best one. I might do something fabbed with the tire carrier but I was talking to mike and we were talking about just gusseting the hangers. I'll take a pic of what I mean right now and post up. Hopefully the fabricators in here can give me some advice!

K so this is what my hangers look like currently, the drivers side is bending, the passenger still looks fine. look past the trailer harness ziptied to the carrier lol

This was a thought by Mike and I but im not sure if its possible, thats all i came up with as a gussetting idea but im thinking an actual crossmember would be alot better

So why not just tie one into your spare tire carrier, or put some bends in it?

yeah i can, im more worried about the frame than the hangers though
edit: what if i get another "X" crossmember made in place of the stock one? but a little closer to the cab so it fits in front of the spares. would that solve my hanger issue or would i still have to do a hanger crossmember?

Is there a first gen kit for a SUA or just piece it all together individually?

I know a company makes a very expensive second gen kit.

I'm sure the topic has been beat to death but in the forum thread are a few very active first gens that have it done.

I want to leave my front mid travel and do a stealth long travel rear, So it can keep up.

Hate to bug but can you help me piece one together?

I just need directions as to what exactly to buy, I will have Jason Speed Freak do the welding and install.

Can I use my current leaf pack with more leafs added? or will it be too flat?

I want to rear to sit stock height and for now I want to use my Icon extended travel rear shocks and later get some triple bypass.
