for long travel, the upper and lower arms are made for each other, so you have to get them as a set. of course you can get the stuff when you see a deal on various parts and just keep them in the garage until you have everything.

i know :( had i gotten all of my parts brand new, i'd be at about $4500 so far, and it's only about half done. (this is also only mid travel). and that with doing all of the installsand labor myself.

Yeah bumps are actually next on the list. Already have a quote from Marco at downsouth motorsports but I'll have to wait awhile for those. I won't be beating on it very hard anyway with stock rear suspension. Im also going to adapt my stock bumps somehow just to keep the shock safe

Most prices are by the lb. The steel place by me is $0.55/lb and 10 bucks a shear so it shouldn't be expense.

    good info, thanks!

I know a few places that i can go to where i'll have access to a cnc laser cutter, so i'm going to render the frame plates in whichever CAD program they use and hopefully get them cut that way. if they turn out well, i may start making them for people on here. as far as i know, noone makes reinforcements for that part of the frame for 2nd gens.

Would I be able to mount my cab like this using a doubling plates one on each side without a roll cage being attached to the top plate? I wont be able to do a full roll cage for awhile but I would like to get my cab solid mounted

There isn't any prefab stuff for the 2nd gens yet. They got everything for the 1st. Sweet, I don't have any access to fun expensive machinery. It's just sawzalls and ginders for me at the moment. A plate that small for you could be done with a few sharpy marks, and cut it out with a saw and grind smooth. With frame kits though you still need to do some cutting and grinding because frames will tweek a bit unless it's been a street queen.

Matt do you have the chromo tie rods on your truck? Or are they the ones that come with the kit?
