here's some LT BS for ya...

i was going to pick up a set of king air bumps off RDC. told the seller i had to transfer some funs into my paypal and it would take a few days. told him i'd paypal him the money by tuesday (yesterday). he said cool. i got home from work to see that he had emailed me just checking in to see if i had sent him the money. i sent him the money and replied to his email. i get an email from him later that night saying he sold them to somebody else cause he didn't hear from me after he sent me the email on tuesday. he waited less than 90 min for my reply before he sold them to the other guy. i was at work... he waiting on me for 5 days... what was it going to kill him to wait onther few hours, plus tuesday wasn't even over, it was 4:30 PM.

pissed me off... now he has $260 of my paypal dollars in his acct... let's see if i get my money back...

contact paypal not him. he can't send you the full money back because he loses some money in fee's. Not that big of a deal to get it back.

Some people, sucks that you didn't get those bumps, but i got a good deal.:p

Probably not wise to contact Paypal first. As Paypal states you should try to resolve with the "seller" first. Filling a dispute with Paypal will just piss the dude (or dudette) off. The person can simply withdraw the funds & there's nothing Paypal can do to get the money back unless it's in their account. Paypal will just lock the account. Unless that account is used for business, the person probably wouldn't even care.

The "seller" can just send the money back by clicking the refund link. This link is often overlooked. Refunding this way will refund all fees so no one looses out. If the payment was sent as "Personal" & not "goods" then this option is not available. But then again you should never send paymnet as "Personal" just to avoid fees as you will have no Paypal buyer protection.

I know it doesn't matter any more since Matt got his Money back but this info is good to know. Might have been a different story if Matt pissed the dude off by filling a dispute.

If LT is gay then damn I wish I was a man whore!

So I was poking around in the driverside wheel well and the guys that had my truck before me must have mega hucked it once because I have the TC secondary hoops that weld to the frame and where its welded it cracked all the way around the weld and the crossmember has a crack in it about 1/8" wide and 1/2" long lol I know it wasn't from me because I haven't jumped it and I don't have front bypasses because they took them off before I bought it. So I'll have to fix all of that stuff.
