So i've been getting the itch to really change things up. Although I just installed my Camburg kit, I'm thinking it is limiting my over all goals. The first thing I have a question about is removing the 4x4 or find a way to run drive shafts on my custom 6.5" over front suspension I'm building. Has anyone ever found a way to run cv's up front with that much travel (thinking I may see 18-22") I hardly ever use the 4X4 but it has definitely saved my ass more times than I can count. What should I do??

Well anything is possible for the right amount of $$$

BBR built a Tacoma kit that got 15" of clean travel with 4x4 intact, can't remember the exact specs, I'd check DR for that.

Solo Motorsports just finished building their 2nd Gen kit that cycles 19" of travel keeping 4WD, they used a custom Mini-Stub to run a 930 CV on the inner joint paired with a Chevy snout & U-Joint on the outer.

The stock outer CV joint is not the limiting factor with travel, it's the inner so you could get a Mini-Stub machined for the inner joint to run a 930 style joint so that you could increase travel without binding

    Dezert toy,

If you have an itch that a bolt on LT kit won't scratch, go center mount and move the engine back. Will spank any bolt on LT kit (no matter how wide it pushes out in the name of travel) and will still fit in a lane.

So my CVs aren't stock inners (Diff side) I guess stock ones have these three roller balls inside them and have a weird case. Mine are Berfield style with the 6 ball bearings and cage and star. So that being said one half my OEM boot kit works. Have the next 3 days off so going to sdhq in the morning to see if 930 boots will fit.

I don't have LT shocks or C/O's but the compression adjusters are great. Well worth the money to me.
I basically keep them on the softest for street driving and firm them up for trail runs.
I'm sure for you LT guys, it offers another option for tuning.
