I didn't get moog ones because Vato zone was the only place open and had them in stock. But I will get moogs very soon.

Couldn't find a picture of your truck from the front when your bj snapped.

 

The moogs are nice. They even come with grease fittings for the bj.

 

Im not sure if that would be strong enough but I am going to try and make something that will work with a stock spindle. I may fail but imagine if I make a lower uniball the 4wd guys could use too

I was thinking of doing something like that but the uni ball cup is wider than the assembly. And the assembly is cast. So I'm not sure about the welding part.

 

Hmmm, didnt know that the lower ball joint is a weak point too, im going to have to pay close attention to mine when I have it apart this weekend to try to understand what you guys are talking about.

 

I was thinking of making a whole new piece. I have my spare ball joints and spare spindles to make a jig
