i ran a half marathon this morning and saw something spectacular...

there was a bro running. i mean full on BRO (those fuckers don't do that kind of stuff, or so i though)... black socks, SRH tank top, long baggy ass shorts and all that jazz, but what really made it awesome was he had a tattoo on the back of his right shoulder that said "my bros" and it was surrounded by flames and then under that he had the names of 7 of his bros, but what made that even better was 2 of the names had a big ass "X" covering the name

shit was unreal... i wish i had my phone so i could have taken a pic

For the guys with standard/long bed, where are your shocks mounted?
Heres a pic my fab guy sent me, the gray rod somewhat represents where the shock is gonna go. Is everyones that far back? Maybe im just mixing it up with the short bed and how they have them up against the front of the bed.

Looks right too me. Go on Mike's website (Defined) and look at where his is mounted in the bed (looks like similar location)

Yeah square tubing, sorry it was just an overall progress pic he sent me of the shackle crossmember.
Saw that, seems like all the standard bed shock mounts are farther back, i guess i never paid attention to that detail till now..no biggie, my cage is still going up to the front of the bed.
    Aarons is like that too:

Yeah it will be, it just looks cleaner with the shocks up against the front of the bed but it makes sense. If they were up against the front they would be at a crazy angle unless i got some really long bottom shock mounts:p
