Long Travel information.

I remember a thread on it somewhere. Could try searching and it might come up. I'll see if I can find it later when I'm on my computer.

 

Take off antenna, zip tie antenna mount up underneath the fender. Add a shorty if you really want it. I never use my radio so it never bothered me. I know theres people that have got aftermarket radio antennas (and the whole mount thing) to bolt up underneath and come up through the top, I just never tried.

 

I think I did the exact same thing with zip tieing the assembly underneath the fender and bent up my antenna so it just goes forward underneath. I have satellite radio that I listen to mostly, but this method doesn't hinder my radio at all either.

For the Antenna......I have been running a product similar to this since 07 and have never had an issue. I ran all the wires through the dash, up the a pillar, and across the front windshield tucked into the headliner. Attatched the module to the windshield next to the rear view mirror.

I just purchased a set of front fenders from road runner after extensive research and was total amazed. I ordered off facebook then within 10 minutes he messaged me back we chatted back and forth then i ordered for 550 to my door although I had him freight via fed ex and received in 4 days from mexico to San Diego to North Carolina. Was well packaged and only 1 minor crack in front fender which is to be expected. fitment was almost perfect had to only drill holes and mount.

 

What is everyone running for cv boots? Just made the jump to LT, trying to figure out if the stock boots will work just fine or if i should look into after market boot kits. Thanks in advance!

I don't have experience but I plan on putting OEM Toyota boots. I'm putting them on the axle tomorrow

I run the All Pro ones, but not sure if I would recommend. I will have to check out Sdhq as I didnt realize that they sell some.

I use the naps brand boots. They are about the same price as oem and they seem to be just as good.

 

Does the camburg first gen lt kit come bare metal?

 

All their non-custom stuff comes powdercoated.

 

This is supposed to be a regular lt kit

 

Maybe it was custom ordered to not have powdercoat. What had the seller said about it?

He said he bought them from someone like that and isnt sure why the person had them bare. Makes me worry and think I'll just stick to my old long travel set up
