What do you mean a 2.5? 2.5 inches of lift? I dont know much about the 5100s since Ive never owned them but I think you can get 3" of lift w/o a spacers. But once you do that, you'll have trouble getting the alignment in spec so you might have to buy UCAs too. There are cheap options for those too if your sticking to form over function.

I am detecting a hint of sarcasm there. And no, its not just you, your OP just illicits that response and it would be the same for anyone. But yes, generally im an overly sarcastic, highly opinionated bastard.

Great self awareness I'd say you nailed that one. And I just got my first Tacoma and I'm trying to get it to look the way I want it fast and cheap its not 4x4(again I cant afford it) so there's no point in serious mods.

OP, actually look at what people are telling you and try the search button. We are laughing because you have started 4 threads tonight asking for help but most of your posts either make no sense or they ask for something that isn't realistic. 4 wheels for under 100$.. :screwy: good luck finding 1 wheel for that price. Spray paint is cheaper. Cheapest 5100's known to man... you see where I'm going?? You want a 3"+ lift with 35's, LT suspension, glass, bumpers, etc for the cost of a tank of gas. If it were possible I would have done it years ago, along with many others I'm sure. Not trying to be an ass but honestly don't join a forum and start spamming with insane posts and asking for help when you don't know what your talking about. Use the search button... use Google, then when you have the money and cant find answers elsewhere, then post here.

You see that's where you need to apply the brakes and hang on a second. I understand you want to get building it and making it unique and how you want it but trust me doing things twice or three times over again because you just jumped in without planning or patience or thinking long term is a royal pain in the ass, the self satisfaction, and a waste of money and time. I did that with my last truck, I thought I knew what I wanted so I just started buying shit and one mod after another and 2 years later I realized I had done pretty much everything wrong and If I still had that truck I would basically be starting over (i sold it for a 4x4). Fast and cheap does not last and eventually you will want something different and better and you will wish you had just saved the cash to do it right the first time. And there is a point to serious mods. They will benefit you and actually make your truck BETTER instead of just making it a slightly modded thing with shitty gas mileage.

If you want a pre runner because you like to drive fast then dont just buy tons of shit to make it look like that...start saving and planning and get a build going. You dont need fully build truck in 3 months. You don't need LT for a fun pre runner. Try just saving and start with a mid travel set up for the front because that's the weakest link. Some good shit up front will be a whole lot more fun and will look way more bad ass than just some shitty spacers done quickly just to "look" cool.

I'm not trying to bash you man. Props for wanting to get some nice stuff for your truck, but I'm just going based off what you have said in this thread and the 3 others you started tonight. You came here for advice and we are giving it too you, but you are not listening to our advice and just getting defensive. ^^ last post was excellent advice about saving and doing it right the first time. Fast and cheap is WRONG!
