Engage is your best bet if you are a prerunner. Their 4x4 kit still has some bugs and their supplier for front axles is falling way behind in production. You really cant beat Engage's price, especially their labor for installing the kit. You basically pick your truck up from them ready to mob.

However, im not doing any mobbing in the near future before reinforcing my motor mounts or getting an engine cage: I landed hard in Pismo and smashed my steering rack into my oil pan :(

Welcome to carnage! The initial LT build is only part of the expense.

Yeah I've heard only but good things about Engage. Plus we have our own "employee" on TW. so it will be even easier to get questions answered.

Wont a PreRunner LT be a little cheaper and faster to install?

if your talking about not having to buy or deal w/ axels then yes.

is it going to be safe to say that you will have the only LT truck in AL? haha

Does it matter what type of wheel I get for my LT? I'm looking at the Helo Maxx 6 (17x8)

yeah check the back spacing of the rim, to see it will work with the Engage Race Spindle if you plan on having a bad ass LT front set up.

as far as the mid and long travel are concerned.... what the difference in travel between the 2..?? if u guys have actual measurements that would be coo..?? and also i saw that Total chaos has a lower control arm that can mount a secondary shock to it without actually having to get the long travel kit... what do u guys think about that and is that worth it...?? sorry if these may be newb questions..??

mid travel is Nothing compared to true long travel, the number differences on a mid travel is about 8-(maybe) 10" as my LT kit cycles 16" which is practically double and handles Amazing off road. yes I believe every kit out there has a secondary shock hoop for the LT, idk what you mean by having the hoop but not long travel? Engage's LT kit pulls the most travel (16") out of all the bolt on kits out there, you can add a bypass hoop and bypass like mikes (red) truck above, I have the hoop installed, just waiting to finish the rear, then buy bypass's and throw them in

right on thanks for the info boss... i appreciate the help... it just sucks i wished i would have done this before... cuz its just somewhat of a pain to replace the spindle and coilover.... and go with the upgraded one... i really want o do it... just got figure out time and maybe depending on how im gonna sell them... But let me ask u is it worth getting a new upper control if i dont have any alignment issues...?? How will it affect me on and off the road if i get upgraded UCA..?? Again thanks for the info...
