Long travel questions??

Which Black truck are you talking about? One of them is mine. I have the Allied Spindles. I just saw a set go up for sale the other day for $800obo let me now if you want me to try and find the link.

 

If you take some of the preload out it will ride great imo. My coilover setup is similar to the toytec bilstein coilover package just made by a different company. When I took the preload out it rode so much nicer. I too want long travel, but just don't think I'll use like it's meant to be at the time.

Ya that's mine. Switched out the grille. Now I'm just waiting to get new rims and tires. I got a deal on the chrome ones that I couldn't pass but now it's time to part ways hopefully sooner than later.

I met a guy on one of the other forums that had the Allied Spindles and Donahoes up front and he threw Glasswork fenders on all 4 corners and it looked pretty amazing. The extra width with the spindles helped him fill out the front glass pretty nicely.

 

Spindles push your tires out? cool, I hate the tucked look.

Where can I find allied spindles?? I cant find a vendor, looks like the allied website is down.

 

They don't make Allied Spindles anymore. Camburg bought them out basically and their new spindle is just a better design of the older Allied Spindles.

 

Well im not buying a product that is no longer being produced. I'll probably just look into the Total Chaos spindles.

 

Camburg makes them still and they're better then the "old" Allied Spindles. There also like $300 cheaper and powder-coated black.

The Camburg spindles only have one shear so they should fit just fine. I think there is two different types of spindle that Camburg makes. One is for LT and the other is for a stock LCA. If your going to order them, call them and talk to Jerry to make sure they will fit but Im 95% sure they will.

 

Just ordered the camburg 4" spindles!!! Im excited, I should get them by friday.

 

Get LT front and rear and call it a day.
