Okledbars n ridgid run basically the same dimensions on the lights cases? From what I can tell they are similar and as for winch,s what was the major benefit of synthetic over cable?

somewhat, the small 3x3 seems to be the same, but the 20"+ are not as tall. The synthetic line is lighter and easier to handle vs the steel, but the steel has more abrasion resistance.

Haven't had them on too long, so not a whole lot of feedback yet, but a few Pro's are:

Small size so more room, don't have to worry about the UCA hitting at droop
You can adjust the ride height by add or releasing nitrogen
You can adjust the "spring" rate but adding or releasing nitrogen
You can adjust the rebound easily. ( Simple turn screw on the side )

    Cons:
    Lots of internal parts
You need to adjust everything yourself lol

Here's a video of Jerry adjusting the height today:

bumper & winch is going to make the front end sag on OEM suspension. I have to run extra heavy duty springs on the coilovers when I had them.

Alex I bet I've watched that video 2 dozen times. So stoked. It looks like you have right at the minimum shaft showing at ride height? I thought I read no less than 3.5 inches was optimal. Kind of looks like you'll too out really quick? Or am I looking at it wrong? Haha getting nervous about setting these up by myself..

Not too sure how bad it will be. But won't be too great. Old Man EMU's are fine, I would get a higher spring rate to compensate for the added weight, especially if you plan to add skid plates later.

Well we were told to set the ride height and drive it around and let it settle and see where it's at. Then adjust the height accordingly. Generally I'll have about 3" of the shaft exposed. There's still 7" of downtravel in the strut. So droop wise it's fine, we bumped the strut with no pressure/no wheel and it bumped at the same time as the bump stop. So I believe there is a loss of maybe 1/2" of up travel, but I won't notice it anyways as my tires would smash through the fender.

the 887s are are what are called for when pushing 200 lbs on the front, bumper winch skids n sliders adding to that mess of added weight..... what springs u end up using... when u had springs? Also the aal for the rear is gonna be nice as I,ve gotten rather close n comfy with the bump.stops when gone camping

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Ben he is running the 10" stroke ORI's that's the only reason there is little shaft showing. With your 8's you should have 4.5 to 5 inches of shock shaft showing at ride height. Also we can remove 100cc of oil from the upper and shorten that bump stroke then he can have even less shaft showing.
