Yessir. I still haven't figured out how lift spindles make you go faster yet. I understand most fellers say it's for ground clearance and whatnot, but I always see them in my rearview bucking like a fat chick getting tazed.

I feel that fabricated spindles are essential to a LT kit..and it actually didn't feel that high on the trail..

And the only way to go faster is by putting 10,000+ stickers on your rig..

well if you get lift spindles on lt you get more uptravel right? which is really good!

but you want it lower right? i wonder what you could be besides lighter spring rates.

if you do keep it that tall you should go with some 37s

Not really getting more up travel..just more clearance in the wheel well on full compression..

I'm still doing research to see if I can get it a few inches lower rather than getting softer springs..cus the front felt great running thru the bumps and whoops this weekend..

37's..one day..but the 35's are still brand new..less than 500 miles on them..

I was told by Solo Motorsports that they could lower my truck by cutting the coilbucket and running a 10 inch coilover with shock hoop. I would like to have the a arms level

you would have to do a lot of cutting in the wheel well to fully utilize all that up-travel with a 10" shock and also a cross brace/shock cage to reinforce. It would be quite a bit of work. If you want to run larger than 8", go at least 12" to utilize dual rate springs.

The problem with doing that is that the uniballs bind limiting travel, then steering. Even with vertical uniballs and heim steering the geometry gets fucked up real quick with arms as short as ours are when you start swinging them in such a long arc. The next logical step is to center mount the arms, but then I'd lose 4wd. I understand strong spindles are important, and I gusseted mine appropriatly. The extra ground clearance provided by lift spindles is nice, but it comes at the cost of a higher center of gravity and loss of high speed stability, imho.

^You still have a ball joint in your spindle lower or is that replaced on your kit with uniball?
