I mainly just don't want to have to replace the whole damn suspension. But you're saying I can run the 2+ and keep my rear icons? Yea I wasn't really planning on going LT since like you said it takes a lot to get there plus I'd have to do a complete suspension overhaul, basically making my icon setup a waste of time and money. I wouldn't mind only replacing the rear icons, keeping the front and just adding another shock up front then overhauling the rear to meet the demands of the front (if that makes sense). If I have to go SUA and tear the icons out so the rear meets the capability of the front (assuming I keep the icons in front) then so be it, but if I can get away with keeping them and just going MT while slapping armor, bumpstops, and/additional shocks I'd rather do that since I don't intend to jump the thing on whoops going 50.

BTW love the feedback guys, much appreciated.

I am full LT up front and SOA out back with 16" shocks. I do mostly crawling 4x4 trails with some occasional hammering of the skinny pedal when the opportunity presents due to the terrain I live. I've gone 50+ mph over whoops and hit small jumps from time to time with no issues. Point being is you can still do a lot with SOA if it's set up right so don't be discouraged. It's not going to do as well in the high speed Hits as SUA or net the same amount of travel #'s but none the less SOA can be a perfectly functional suspension option.

Yeah, I wish I could be like you and just drop my truck off at a shop and have them deal with it haha. I'm going to try the new Camburg bolt-on kit.

Fair enough... Make sure you have a nice air compressor with an air hammer a punch bit and a drill. Would be really difficult banging all of those out by hammer and punch. The front hangers are the worst since they are riveted to the inside frame bracing which makes it more difficult to push out.

Trust me, if I had the know-how and/or the space I would've been down to try the install. Doubt I could do as nice of a job as they did. Interested to see how the kit turns out. Are you heading out to that July 1st meet? There seems to be a bunch of guys from the south bay that all have glass and going LT. And I think you's all know each other?

    Bed cage or shock relo?

Yeah, most definitely man... Space and tools are key to get the job done. From all of the pics, they've done a kick ass job!

Hell no, its going to be hot as hell out there man... Desert Season is OCT-MAY. Yeah, I know a few of those guys in that club.

That's good to know. I just really want to at least keep the front Icon I have on currently and just add on to what I have to make it capable of hauling a$$ without too much worry

Thanks bud! It's going to be a long process and hard work but It will be worth it. Def need to check out your truck in person soon.

Nice, how'd the truck run out there?

The rear felt amazing, so plush. Haha. Front is still MT, so can't push it too much. Put about 46 off-road miles on it. I'm super stoked with it.

Now, gotta figure out and save for the front. May go back to Solo for their new 3.5 kit.

Awesome man. Good to hear. You did it the right way by LT the rear first. That was the route I was going to go, but then I got a good deal on a front kit. The new Solo kit looks good and is at a good price point. I know of at least one person with that kit already on his truck.
Haha, he was setup with a full size spare and a jack though!

Haha that unassuming little bush. Just gives me extra incentive to go up in tire size.

Nice. Don't worry before the end of the year, I'll be there. Looking at camburg. Any particular reason you chose TC?
