Long tube headers problem

That's what I want try to do, I got 2 unset monitor at least if I can set 1 monitor either cats or 02 sensor I'm good to go. I went to many place inspection already and they don't pay attention if there's no cat they just focus what they machine said.

I don't have MIL only had code P2433,P2438,P0102 and P0103 but those code I can't clear it bc doesn't make my MIL is on. My problem I got 2 unset monitor to pass.

 

How many miles have you driven so far after you reset the battery?

 

I believe all 4 of those trip the MIL, therefore you will never get the monitors to complete. Need to fix that first. Looks like it has to do with the air injection system and the MAF sensor.

 

After reset the battery I drove it around 25 mile.

 

That's what make me stressful those all 4 code doesn't make the engine light is on, so I can't clear or erase it with my scanner.
Do you think those all 4 code happen because I installed K&N filter with TB spacer plus 76mm urd TB adapter?

 

man you aren’t making any sense. Earlier you said you had no mil and now you’re dumping more evidence that there’s more to your problem than O2 monitor issues. Why don’t you take a seat and tell us what else you did to this thing before we can help you.

 

I'm sorry my man, I don't meant to cover up anything and I appreciate you want to help. Here's the detail what I done to my truck.

1. I got 2015 tacoma 6speed and I installing JBA long tube headers with SIM from URD plus spark plug non foulers but The SIM doesn't work on 2015 ECU and cause engine light is on, so JustDM help me to hook me up with ECU from 12-14 tacoma reprogram to my truck so the SIM will be work plus with his best tune.

2. After I installed ECU from JustDM everything went great, engine light is off. I add K&N filter with TB spacer, 76mm TB adapter from URD plus 76mm TB from tundra and truck went awesome and engine light still off.


3. After all things installation went 6 months pass and due to inspection I just found it that I can't pass it because I got 2 unset monitor but when I plug in my OBD scanner I got those of 4 code (P0102,P0113,P2433 and P2438) weird thing is those all 4 code doesn't make my engine light is on and I can't erase it with my scanner plus the inspector doesn't catch it on his machine only 2 unset monitor cats and 02 sensor.

4. I wouldn't know if not due to inspection because my engine light isn't on. I was thinking everything great ready to inspection, since this happen I try many times reset the ECU, I take away spark plug non foulers, I take away the SIM and run it 02 sensor straight forward, I clean and service SAI system both pump and valves but the result still same 2 unset monitor and 4 code still there.

I'm sure nothing to do with JustDM tuning because these about emission, so that's the story.

 

I believe a good part of your issue is you got an ECU for a truck that may not have had the secondary air injection but your truck has it. So you wouldn’t never have passed irrespective of the issues with the O2 sims. I’ll let someone else chime in that’s more knowledgeable in that area though.

 

I thought all tacoma 12-14 regardless the model all use SAI system. On mine the SAI system work normal I can hear the pump sound.
