i think 4door short bed looks better imo but if you plan to haul stuff then go long bed.

You buy a truck because it has a bed. Unless you only plan on hauling groceries and industrial sized packages of toilet paper from Sams club, get the Long Bed.

Long bed also rides a little smoother because of the wheelbase length. Plus, it's only $500 more, so why not.

The downsides are a little bit wider turns, and not as nimble offroad. It's still capable off road, but the longer wheel base can hinder getting over obstacles.

I also love to laugh at F150/Silverado Crew Cabs because my little truck has a real bed.

    long bed = long bed
    short bed = short bed

retarded judgement of preference = retarded

I like the long bed cause its the perfect size to sleep in and haul stuff, and still seems like a short bed to me after owning a long bed dodge.

I'm going to get a DC long bed soon. But every dealership I've looked at doesn't have a single long bed. Is this because they're in high demand? Or do they just not make as many long beds?

If you are going to do a bunch of windshield time, the long bed rides so much better.

I have a short bed and a utility trailer for anything that won't fit in my bed. I would rather have the OR than a bed that is a foot longer.

I just bought a LB and took my first trip in it to Columbus OH and had to haul a six foot step ladder and some other stuff. The latter fight fully in the bed and I could close the top (Access Cover) without the ladder hanging out.:)

I went from a Tundra to a SB Tacoma and have missed the space offered in a longer bed. If I had it to do all over again, I'd get the longer bed.
