Longbed Dimensions

Hey, Folks,

So, I finally got a chance to test drive a manual yesterday, and I'm trying to decide between the manual and an automatic with the long bed. No long bed available with stick, as I'm sure y'all already know. Anyway, I totally forgot to measure the inside dimensions of the long bed when I was at the dealership yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone happened to have the measurements handy?

Basically, I'm trying to figure out whether my favorite longbow would fit fastened against the side of the bed with the tailgate closed.

It should be 6ft maybe 6ft 1in.
You should be able to find the specs on the Toyota web site.

How long is your longest longbow?

 

Thanks. Hmm.... Well, my favorite longbow is an English styled one - old school - and it's 72" or so. Looks like it'd be close. The manual's short bed would be too short.... The manual had a great feel to it, though. Shame.

You can also grab the width and apply a bit of geometry to find the diagonal dimension.

 

Gotcha - yeah, I saw that in the brochure, but I didn't notice an interior dimension, just the exterior, so I thought I'd check with y'all. The diagonal dimension is more than enough on even the short bed, I think, unless my math is borked.
