Hi, Was wondering options on running boards for a long bed that offer protection between the cab and back fender from door dings. Been eyeing up the cali raised rock sliders step edition but don’t necessarily need rock sliders. Also saw the nerf bars from Rough Country but not sure if they extend that far. Any suggestions? (Picture as example) Thanks in advance!

It would have to be a very low vehicle for running boards to protect against door dings !!

If you're close to Pittsburgh, I have a set of OEM tube steps I'd give you a great deal on. They're in excellent condition, had them installed only for a couple of thousand miles. Can't ship though. PM me if interested.

Are you getting rid of your running boards and why? I’m just curious, I have have a 2019 DCLB and thinking of ditching mine too. I don’t really use them much, they kind of get in the way more than anything…and they collect a lot of road grime.

My wife needed a lower step up into the truck, so I picked up some predator steps instead. I didn’t mind the look of the tubes but the predator steps work better for her.
