    If I were going to do this, I would use a 1 shot relay to trick the ECU into thinking that you opened the door.

    Out of all the forums on here im glad i found one that hasnt been done yet, its like finding a new dinosaur! Especially on a second gen! So yes to the earlier post i usually dont want to take my keys with me, some of you may have been there you just dont make it to the truck in time. I usually do have a fist full of coffee and smokes by the time i get to the truck and it locks back in my face! Thats for the info .......and who is gonna tackle it?

    Sounds doable, maybe add a 5 or 10 second delay circuit, after the initial unlock, before it triggers the relay. It may not be necessary though.

    You could add an aftermarket alarm system with hands-free RF unlock feature.


    But, yes, how do we know which immobilizer system we have?

    Try the steps I posted to cancel the auto-lock. If it does not work, you don't have that particular OEM system installed.
