Wondering what’s the longest road trips everyone has taken in your tacoma? Any issues or thing to look out for on a long trip?
Going from NH to SC then FL for some camping at the end of the month. Any cool places to check out?

Longest I've done is Akron OH to Outerbanks. Only issue I had was that it wasnt further. Obviously do a check over on fluids on your truck and maybe keep some extra tools in the back as a just in case. But with these trucks, you're going to be able to make that drive and be worry free. Good luck and post some pictures along the way!

I drove several 6 to 8 week road trips in my '96 4x4 extended cab 5 speed manual, then I got married and my wife made me grow up and get a real job... Longest time wise was in '98, left Maryland for good and moved to Colorado, spent two months driving from MD to CO. Drove first to CO, dropped of stuff then off to Moab down to Monument Valley to Grand Canyon to Vegas to L A. up the Pacific Coast Highway to Oregon while hitting every national park I could. Zigzagged Cali to hit parks,Yosemite, Sequoia, various redwoods then back to PCH. Based two weeks in Portland hitting Seattle, Vancouver, Astoria, Mt. Saint Hellens, and a few other places. From Portland I headed east along the Columbia River to Twin Falls up to Craters of the Moon to Yellowstone across Montana to N.D. hit Theodore Roosevelt N.P. then south to Sturgis, Spearfish, Rapid City, Mt. Rushmore, west to Devil's Tower then headed to Gillette, WY south to Denver and back to the mountains to work the ski industry for the next seven years.... Don't remember the milage, just the timing and the amazing places. Camped as much as I could. Haven't lived east coast since '98, couldn't begin to give suggestions for your trips. Have a great trip, take your time and enjoy the views.

I like to say I work as hard as I can to work as little as possible. That seems to have stopped being the case as I've gotten older....

I feel ya. My wife and I have started to travel more and more lately. Few trips out west around Southern Utah and Arizona. More coming. I wish we could do these trips in the Tacoma but the wife would rather fly.

Longest trip so far... But i'll add that I was towing a carhauler with a sxs on it so I could hit the Paiute down in Utah. Did another 440 miles on that over 4 days in the Marysvale area. I can't wait to have enough time to take a long camping trip now that I've got the truck pretty well setup.

I’ve driven across the entire country a total of 8 times and the longest route I’ve taken was from the Tidewater area of VA down to FL and across I-10 to Bakersfield CA then up to Seattle (2005 Tacoma) However, this last trip across could rival that one. Same starting point but zig zagging across the country and ending up in the Bay Area. That trip was about 5600 miles in total.

I have done the drive from Homer Alaska through the Yukon Territory and BC to the Bay Area in a 1993 4Runner, that also got me from the Bay Area to Tidewater.

Couple months out still. Gonna do it in 2.5 weeks, which according to most is a depressingly short amount of time for that trip. But I want to have a job to come back too, so I gotta make do with my vacation days...

Current longest trip is moving from Quantico, VA area to Seattle via I-90 from Philly through Chicago, then across SD, WY, and MT.

You’re going to be scootin along! My trip from Homer to the Bay Area took about 10 days. I wasn’t pushing too hard though. I think my limit is around 700-800 miles a day (11-12 hours driving) if I’m going for distance and time.

Yeah... I've finally reached the point in my life where it's not the money holding me back, it's the lack of vacation time... Weekend trips are fun, but a 2 week or more trip would be amazeballs.

@Gunshot-6A im not sure if anyone has mentioned it to you or not but, the ALCAN at that time is when there is a lot of repair work getting done. There were sections that were 20-30MPH for hours due to the road work
