So @Redmann is buying suspension components off of @WormSquirts and @Swisscosmo is ever so kindly driving them to Regina with him on his journey. He will be arriving Jan 3 and departing the 6th. Now we are trying to get them from Regina down to me in Ottawa. Or at least from Regina to Tbay n then figure it out from there.

    ... uuh... No.
    https://www.google.com/maps/place/P...9a3ba85e8da21e!8m2!3d44.0003383!4d-77.2504937

I did not just ad the PEC. I live east of Toronto, south of Belleville, ON. I'd help if he wants it to come this far and then turn south at the Ivy Lea/Thousand Islands border crossing in upstate NY, instead of going all the way to Ottawa.

It appears that it is now planned to go from Surrey, BC to Ottawa, ON and then turn south. That's ridiculous. You guys may wish to look at a map. Canada is a big fucking place... and we're now entering winter.

    Canadian route as planned:

    Surrey to Regina
    https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Surr...77b54b1!2m2!1d-104.6188943!2d50.4452112?hl=en

Regina to Winnipeg (where I don't think that we have one frequent member), then on to Ottawa. Who the fuck wants to travel over Lake Superior north from Winnipeg to North Bay, now that we're being slammed with a shit load of blizzards? (@llamasmurf chimes in here) , -
    https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Otta...77b54b1!2m2!1d-104.6188943!2d50.4452112?hl=en

    Ottawa to Philly
    https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Otta...8c3e58c1!2m2!1d-75.1652215!2d39.9525839?hl=en

    US route:
    https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Surr...8c3e58c1!2m2!1d-75.1652215!2d39.9525839?hl=en

I would think that it would be easier to head south into the US right away, and then using the US TW Express routes to make it across. There are infinitely more 'Murican TW members that can make it happen.

... but, it would pretty cool if it happens.

Anyone able to make a thread in the USA TW Express threads for this? I tried but I don’t have the 50 post minimum required to create a thread. If we can find someone willing to meet me at the border of Canada and either Montana or North Dakota we could still make this happen.

Why not take this south (down) the west coast to California, across the southern section of the U.S. and the back up the eastern seaboard?

Would minimize the weather concerns now that winter is here...................

an would be the record for the LONGEST TW EXPRESS ever for everyone else to try to break.........................................

We are trying to make those parts cross Canada because we are going down to NY already sometime this winter, and because it would be epic hahaha But any other solutions has to be taken in consideration for sure!

Plenty of members along the northern edges of both states. @MTgirl surely keeps a roster... She's OCD like that.

Wouldn't rule it out. It's just that a lot of people don't do a lot of cross country driving up here this time of year. Conditions aren't the most supportive.

Yeah you're right. I didn't even think about winter in Canada. I'm used to Philly winters, which are a breeze compared to you guys. I'm not ruling out getting them shipped, and @WormSquirts is willing, but I want to try the TW Express first. It would be pretty cool.

The only reason we went across Canada with the proposed route is because there's 2 guys who are coming to the states for a meet up. I'm certainly open to other ideas.

I'm slightly busy at work for the next few hours. I can post Something. Is there a particular thread? I'm still somewhat new to the forum.

Open to ideas! Have you seen any established routes in terms of TW express TacomaWorld members? Or do you know anyone along these routes?

I'll tag you later tonight to remind you! Thank you so much!

Where are they headed, and from where? Have import issues been discussed or covered?

Me and @Bocsy44 are going down to NY, near the border to Pensylvania. Meeting @EatSleepTacos and friends there to pick up parts and eat bbq lol that's why it is an option to take the parts to Ottawa, because when they will be in Eatsleeptaco's hands, @Redmann will be good to pick them up!

Well if you need, I can hold onto it in tbay for you if you’re not going to meet whoever here. I would have no problem with that. I can store them in my nice cold garage for ya. 807-630-9935 is how you can get a hold of me.

The trek from Regina to you is what we're trying to figure out. That's the issue at the moment. @taczilla brought up some good points with winter up there. Also the fact that there's not many active TW members around that part of Canadia. Going South to the states FIRST might be the way to go, instead of east through Canada then South.

The lack of Canadian members is what's making this thing exciting! And also, we have winter each year, I really don't see why it causes problems? I've seen people drive in a blizzard in their front wheel drive to get a coffee at Tim Horton's... I guess we are fine in a 4wd to bring parts to a good guy haha
