    Mounted my Hi-Lift jack in the bed tonight. I FINALLY used those brackets that Longbow sent me about two months ago..... :)

    I plan to cut the braces shorter so it will sit higher, and hopefully I'll be able to mount a shovel underneath it...

    It's clean because it's brand new! Give me a chance.... There are lots of places where the powder coat is rubbed off. Does that help?

    Hey you getting any vibe noise from the jack base bumping the bed. Hard to tell I know with the cover on. Noticed some noise on mine with cover off, father pin pointed it. If you do just add a small piece of rubber hose to a small section of the base, cheap and easy to replace.

    Yea I understand what you mean, I end up putting a poly spacer at the top bracket, so it brought it out a little. Why I did it, can't remember. :)

    Installed my new CB tonight... Cobra 29 NW LTD Classic with a 4' Firestick mounted on the drivers corner of the rear bumper.

    I mounted my antenna on the rear bumper, drivers side. Ran the cable along the frame and up into the cab from below. It's the only way I could find to get it.

    If I didn't have the tonneau cover, I'd use the bed rails. But unless I wanted to get a magnetic antenna and stick it on the roof each time I wanted to use it, I had few options.

    This tonneau cover really limits a lot of things! :(

    It's not AS crooked as it looks in this picture, but it does lean in just a little. I can't figure out why though - the bumper is flat where I mounted the stud...
