    Howdy Taco Pals....

I love my '08 Prerunner just like Burt Reynolds loved his black T-top Trans Am in Smokey & the Bear...great car/trucker movie!!

I been reading you guys a long time and it never amazes me how clever and thorough the feedback is.

At 240k....my Tacoma is a bit loose handling wise...my mechanic of 12 yrs just put in new after market lower Ctrl arms and stabilizer bars.....and about 1 week later...i hear a thunk coming from front right wheel well....

Another change has been after market air intake sensor.....when accelerating...i sometimes feel delay from pedal to engine & followed by big lurch....when pressing down on gas...

I am interested in thoughts and feedback on some ideas moving forward...

    Cheers my fellow. Taco Pals...

    Welcome to TW.

Check the lower control arm bolts.
It’s not uncommon that they become loose and cause a thunk.
Even more so after an alignment or control arm replacement.

As for the MAF / intake sensor, I’d recommend sticking to the OE sensor.

Thanks for the warm welcomed me fellow Taco owners....

Special thanks to TnShooter for key insight on thinks and such.

Another question for the gang....i have control arms and struts with 125k miles....full set of stock tires with hubs & 6/32 of tread..what is best way to recycle? Is there a market for these items in Phoenix metro area?

    Thanks in advance!!
