So I’m leaving the bank this morning and discover this...

It wasn’t there two days ago so it must have happened yesterday while I was at Lowe’s. Deciding what to do now.

Any ideas what this will cost to fix?

And this is why I park far far away in any parking lot. People are very inconsiderate.

Sorry about the truck OP looks like a California special
Not an expert but my gf's 4 runner had similar damage and the had to replace and paint the plastic bumper
Looks like the fender flare is toast too
I had a hit and run a couple weeks ago, but mine involved sheet metal. The crappy part is not knowing who or when did the damage

I do my best to park in no man's land too, the other day I parked in a completely empty section of the lot and when I came out someone was squeezed right next to me, I counted 13 empty spaces, boggles the mind why anyone would do that.

Perhaps there are cameras in the parking lot? I hate people.

This is exactly why I still have my 96 F250 XLT 4x4. While I'm gonna need a new vehicle in a year or so, I'm so apprehensive because of a-holes like the one that hit and left your new truck. Some tool rubbed down the entire passenger side of my old truck a few months ago. It's in good shape and all but it has some rust and minor dents and after all it is 22 years old now . Still pisses me off though. I had a brandy new 2011 Power Wagon and some idiot cranked their door super hard into my passenger door in a parking lot a year after I got it, made a huge dent. SOME People really suck.

Go back to Lowes and ask for security, they should be able to pull the surveilllance tape from the time it occurred.

Go to a local detail shop.
It’s hard to tell from pic but you might get lucky with some Autosolv and a good polish.
Good luck. Rea bummer people can’t steer their cars.

My last vehicle had one of those and a bunch of door dings. Now with this truck I put park way the hell out in no man's land. Every once in a while I get some ass clown who parks right next to me.:frusty:

the nice thing about having sliders/HD bumpers is that when you walk out and see that someone left paint behind you know that they have a lot more damage to show for it.
