I see a d-ring attached to the tie down point and just wanted to let you know I don't believe they are recovery rated.

I have seen the aftermath of recoveries using those tie down points and in one case the damage was so severe when the tie down point ripped that the vehicle was totalled.

    I like it, a lot.

I did the same thing for my '15 and will be doing the same for my Inferno '17 if it ever arrives!

I already have the new grill.

    Congratulations on a sweet ride.

I think it looks great, including the lettering.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Indeed... On the fence... I can never tell exactly how this would look on the a black truck. Is the grill charcoal or black?

That's the recovery point. He's using an aftermarket bracket like I am. That's where the factory recovery point is on a TRDOR. drivers side has the tie down point you are referring to

No they are molded in and part of the whole. Retro look for sure. I think it offsets the skewp a bit better than all that chrome.
Wife said "your truck has a meaner look now".

The letters can be easily masked and painted. I was contemplating that but I figured put it on and run with it for a bit. The lettering color actually matches the lighter silver/grey on the interior and also the Fuel wheels I have. So I'm good with it.

Good question.. they were laying on the table after I installed the grill into the frame. I watched the youtube vid on the install and right where they guy says "line up all the tabs" ... that part... I was not as careful as I thought I was!

The 2 tabs that broke were pretty flimsy at best compared to the rest of the tabs. I didn't use any force .... thought I had em all lined up but the 2 that broke did so very easily. The other tabs are much stronger, kinda weird??

This is true, my dealer has had 8 come in all damaged. He offered to sell me one at a discounted rate, but if im paying 400 on a grill or 350 for a broken one ill wait.

Those look like the tabs that were broken on mine as well. The one tab sorta just fell off. The broken ones were way more flimsy than the rest of them, those 2 tabs are only 2 of like 20.. doesn't affect performance at all.
