Just got it fixed, nothing more I really could do unfortunately. Filed a police report of coarse. Happened some time between 12:45 and 6am with my truck sitting in my own drive, 8 feet from my back door. Bastard better hope I never find him...

 

yea it really sucks that people can get away with this kinda bullshit, how much did it cost you to fix it?

oh man! Same thing happened to me. I was shopping at costco and someone left the cart in the parking lots. The parking was not flat and somehow it rolled to back of my truck. 6 inches scratch to the paint. i tried to buff it out and clear coat. Still see little scratch if you look closer. While standing up, don't see scratch. I went to 2 body shop and give me the quote between $125 to $200. I am not going to worry about it. Just got my truck on August 21st and it not even a month old! SHIT HAPPENED!

Why do people like to damage property anyway? My window was broken to get in and the only thing stolen were my burned cd's. My amp and subs were left alone. What sucks is that the window scratched my door.

 

The body shops bill was just shy of $450, all paid by insurance. They had to do the entire tailgate obviously.

Or they thought were were an airplane. In any case there is nothing worse than non-self inflicted scratches on your truck. At least you can get it fixed for cheaper.
