    Hi,
I recently had the AC go out on my 2014 4 banger. I looked online and found this site. I searched for help and found a thread with lots of great info. I actually just finished a 45 minute $15 repair that I thought would be 10 times that to fix. So glad I found this site and decided to join for more help and to say THANK YOU!

The issue was the clutch plate. Very hot here and with the age of the truck the rubber that creates the cushion when magnet engages rotted and melted. The AC thread I found had several similar reports of squealing sounds and AC light flashing. Common fix was just an easy part replacement, just a little hard to get to on the 4 cylinder version.
