So I just talked to the guy for the 400 and got the measurements (Verified online) and my shortbed isn't going to fit it. I dont have a trailer and so back the the drawing board. I dont think I am going to go for the 500 as mentioned above about the snow plow etc. I appreciate all your help as always, this is the best place for advice on anything. Thanks I am going to see if I can find a grizzly or foreman/rubicon or save up for the outlander or renegade.

Ya i believe it was $4800, there was some kind of rebate. I bet a rancher would fit in your bed, it's a lot smaller than the sportsman.

Just so you know, with a grizzly you will have to drive over the wheel wells to make it work. They will not fit between them

Small world. I'm selling my Polaris 550XP and 300 in MD. The 300 fits in my short bed. Send me a PM if you want to talk details.

i must say i never had planned on buying polaris. i am a die hard honda guy but planned to get a new grizzly with eps instead of a honda. then the week i was going to buy the grizzly i got a killer deal on two used, beat up 2001 polaris sportsman 500HO's, and i love them. the one has 3,800 miles and the other has 1,800 miles. they both work great, despite what they have been through.

i would buy polaris again. i'm impressed with them. their awd system is great too...
