Ok, so I have definitely decided on getting a Tacoma, looking at 1 specific one right now, and maybe another if this one falls through, what I want to know is what particulars should I be looking for, I am a mechanically sound guy, so I can listen for noises and such, I know about the frame rust issues with these years, are there any other "special" issues with these Tacoma’s that I should pay attention to? Both are lifted, so I will find out what kind of lift, really don't want a body... And if I cannot find some loose dirt or gravel what would be the best way to test the 4x4? Any information you can provide me would be great!

Links to the ones I am looking at currently,
2006 AC TRD Sport, My 1st option

2007 AC TRD?? It says OR, but has all the cosmetics of a Sport, so I will be emailing the guy, 2nd choice do to Mileage and an hour drive to go look

Thanks again guys! I am not going to be a hard core off roader or anything, but would like to go out on the trail and such once and a while.

    Clazzio seat covers,
Buy to fit youir needs ... not others ... 4WD if you're going to use it ... Prerunner if you want the stance but not the weight ... Sport if you want that look ... SR5 for the extras ... Off Road for the SR5 extras and more (E locker/power outlet in bed)... a lot of choices but at the end of the day the choice is up to you.

    Best of luck.

Check out Checkered Flag ... Priority ...

The white '07 has TRD Off-Road decals, but appears to be a Sport. Is it a Sport with OR decals or an OR with new hood and color matched parts? The OR has a locker, the Sport doesn't...so that's how you would be able to find out one way or the other.
