Hello I have a 2011 Tacoma tx pro I'm looking into custom grills however I do not want to hack my factory grill up i was going to get the raptor style grill but I'm not good with bondo and the like and their installation vid on YouTube looks too aggressive for me, is anyone aware of any company that sells a direct replacement mesh grill? Unbolt factory and bolt up one to replace entire grill so I don't have to cut up factory one? I've looked at grill craft but it seems to get the look im going for you'll still need to cut the factory one out, also the 2011 or just my truck has a diff grill than others I've seen, So that's another reason I don't want to cut it up. Thanks for any input.

    I lost track...
I went with the GrillCraft MX black series, yes you do need to do a little bit of cutting to remove the grill but the result is very much worth it. It only took me about 2 hours to do mine after cutting the grill out and sanding down the edges.uploadfromtaptalk1431496685625.jpg

I'm in the same boat as you with my 2015 Tacoma but I ended up finding ECGFabrications looks like they have whole assemblies and what not. I don't know personally though. Trying to save up for my wheels before I buy a grill.

You're gonna have to cut up your grill if you want an aftermarket mesh and the OEM 2011 grill is a tough one to mod. When I was doing my raptor satoshi from a Homer mesh I spent a while trying to use my OEM 2011 grill and ended up buying an 08 replacement to use so that I could get a nice depth of the satoshi lip with a lot less plastic weld work. I got the replacement on parts geek for like $40 and you can either color match the surround or swap out the chrome from your stock one. It might be a good route to go so that you don't have to hack up your 2011 grill and you can take your time to get the bondo right. I had no prior experience with bondo and mine turned out perfect. I followed the guide on here. It was a pain in the ass to get it right and I don't see how people like Homer do it more than once, but it is worth it in the end to get the look.

Thank you for the info, so if I find a inexpensive 08 stock grill I can mod that one with mesh style and put my chrome stock outer over it and it should bolt right up? That's what I'll most likely do thank you I appreciate the info!

Get an 08 one see you know it's not gonna be the honeycomb. I'm not sure if the '11 replacement you linked is the honeycomb. The picture is correct tho
