Go with a suspension lift; body lifts aren't safe at all... That being said, stay away from spacer suspension lifts and go with coilover suspension lifts if that made any sense. Are you looking to go 3" or 6"? BTW, welcome to TW!

Suspension lift only, how much are you looking to spend? What type of off-roading if any do you do?

800 installed? or just for the lift? OME makes great products for good prices. My lift ran me around 700 and I installed it with a buddy for free.

885s with top plate spacers unless you plan on mounting a winch or heavy duty bumper. The top plate spacers are only .75"...

I got the 884s without the top plate spacer and got 2.5 inches of lift and i LOVE it. ( I didn't want to have to deal with getting new ucas.) If you want a full 3'', get the top plate spacer with the 884s, or the 885s if you want a stiffer ride or plan on putting on any aftermarker bumper. And get the aal for the rear

It'd be a good idea. Anytime you lift that much your alignment specs go to shit, and aftermarket ucas will correct this.:)

I thought the reason he was getting OME is so that he can stay away from spacers. Is top plate spacer different from spacer lifts?

With the OME kit for a full 3'' lift you need the .75'' top plate spacer if you get the 884 or 885 springs. With the 886 springs you dont because the spring is so long but you get a stiff ride unless you have an after market bumper/winch. The top plate spacer mounts between the top plate and mount on the truck it doesnt go in between the spring and top plate.
