I just spent about one hour looking at the undercarriage of my 2019 Access cab TRD sport and i must say its built like a tank for a light 1/2 ton pickup. Very impressed with it and i think if you don’t over tire it and cause more leverage on the suspension parts it should last a long time. No fun doing that though. We love to modify and change things and see what our trucks well do. I well not take negative words about the quality of these trucks. Too many years under far lighter built trucks.

This steel looks like it came out of china made of used crushed cars, that's bad. Is this your truck, year?

I think it is rated at 1/4 ton, not 1/2 ton. Still fairly capable from what I've seen.
