I don't think that's the case. My 09 manual transmission has TPMS sensors in the wheels and a sensor on the truck and dash light (although I did later remove the dash light warning light when I got a second set of rims w/o TPMS.)

I took my Sr double cab 4cyl Tacoma that I had paid 29k out the door. They offered me 32k and had 10k miles. I signed and walked with a check immediately before they backed off. Went and bought a sr5 with that same money. So I’m sure Carmax will do good

Depends, do you wanna know the sticker price before or after the dealership adds $3k-$4k because it’s a Tacoma? Pro adds 5-6k

This is what I have seen as well.
There are several threads about this exact issue with the TPMS and the fact they can't be imported due to it. If you could import a Canadian Taco, there would be a glut of MT Access cab OR's here since we don't get that combo.

My personal forbidden fruit is low windshield washer fluid light.

Can't. The whole computer gizmos need changed or such. I forget the exact details, but there were lots of expensive parts needed, not just the TPMS sensors themselves.

Good to know. I'm just going from my personal experience, and I don't have a MT OR. From the looks of it, 3rd gen MT Canadian trucks do not have TPMS. Not the first time I've been wrong.

Im shocked at these prices lately. Right when the pandemic started in April 2020 I bought my 2020 TRD OR for 33k, no sales tax because I was living in NH. I get a email from the dealership every month asking to buy it.

Yea I think they were panic selling them because the pandemic and they didnt know how things would go. They wanted 36k originally but pinned two dealerships together and one came down to 33k. They probably had like 30 Tacos in the lot at the time. Just right place right time.
