Hey guys. Im looking for a brush guard for my 96 Tacoma. I have looked all over the web but haven't had much luck. Im in Afghanistan right now. I want a black brush guard. If anyone knows where I can find one or if one for a different year model will fit my truck let me know. Thanks in advance

I have one for sale. Recently painted and hasn't even been installed yet. I also have a 96. I will share pics if you want to see some.

Why not go ahead and get a true bumper rather than a brush guard.. Most of the time a brush guard causes more damage than it saves if you were to hit something. Just my .02

There may be instances where a brush guard does cause damage to the vehicle but who is to say that damage will always be less without a brush guard. IMO I would say the average damage from hitting Bambi is going to be less with a brush guard than nothing at all. I do agree that an integrated ARB style plate bumper would offer superior protection however this added protection comes at about 4-6x the $ of mentioned 2nd hand brush guard. :)

    Either way, ive had both.

You don't need a ARB or plate bumper to protect, ive hit 6 deer since getting my bumper and never a bit of damage and the only thing protecting the fender/headlights is a single tube that's braced back to the center section of the winch plate, & for under half the cost of an ARB. Also you know theres a deal going on here now that gets you an ARB winch combo pretty cheap, and at one time there was an ARB on Amazon for $250-ish that quite a few members jumped on. If a brush guard can be bought 2nd hand a bumper can too

Its all personal opinion though and you know what they say about those
