Looking for a coating for Aluminum

I called a Harley Davidson shop. There reply was to replace it. What ever I applied will be subjected to the same abuse and will not last.

I don't know if they want to sell me new shocks or they are right.

 

If its an HD and you called an HD shop, then yes.....they are selling parts.

The front shocks finish only last a few years about it gets all pitted looking. Since it seasonal hobby the finish only last just over a year. If the bike get ridden few months out of the year.

 

If you wanna have a bit of a laugh.....

Ride into HD with a Japanese bike. Ask if they have any take off mufflers that'll fit.

 

I go to HD shops all the time with rice rockets. I get laughed at, but I make it back home without breaking down.

 

Yeah, it is said that 99% of HDs are still on the road.

They don't mention the other 1% that made it home.

 

It's nothing against HD. I been stuck on the road more with HD than the rice rocket.
