You cant carry a pistol in Canada?

 

uhh no you cant....they have let their rights enumerated in the Magna Carta and english bill of rights be legislated away sadly...but a lot of states have done the same here..we are slowly chipping away at the chains of freedom case by case

 

What if you have a hand gun and that stupid laws comes to my state, will i have to forfeit my gun or is it like grandfathered in??

 

do you have a license to carry in HI? ive heard they are very hard to get....read nearly impossible)

in canada you can still have handguns with a (PAL for restricted/prohibited weapons) but they have registration and what not...

 

Also from what I heard a permit to transport when you want to go to the range and whatnot

Yeah you dont need a permit to carry to and from shooting range/gun shop/hunting etc.., you CAN carry a weapon on you but you need a special permit that practically only law enforcement can have or for very special circumstance. To own a gun here you need a long gun permit for rifles and you need a handgun permit, long gun permit you can buy as much rifles as you want and the handgun permit only one per pistol, and i have both

 

Only one pistol, I would be lost without 3 or more Florida Rules, Jim

Lol, no i mean you have to have a license for each handgun, so if you have 3 handguns you need 3 licenses, verses long gun permit you only need 1 permit but you can buy 100 rifles if you wanted too

 

Don't forget you need a hunting license too

Confused with all this gun permit and hunting class crap, oh how I love AZ. I would opt for a shotgun personally its a very versatile gun that can be used for multiple types of game and self defense
