    2005 DCSB 4wd.

Looking to upgrade my rear for good and dont mind spending the coin.

Currently have: Dakars, 12inch 2.0 fox RR, extended brake lines, all factory hangers.

Only offroading is spirited beach driving.

Want to keep the foxes, get new leafs, new hangers and shackles, and new bumpstops, probably fox 2.0 air bumps.

I never carry any weight or tow other than beach gear.

Looking to keep the 2.5 of lift in the rear.

Whats the best leaf pack for my needs?
    Allpro? Deaver? Icon?

I would personally go with icon RXT. I’ve been really happy with them and you have the extra leaf for adjustability and 3 options on weight. They are a nice softer flexy pack but still hold up my full size spare, tool box, pro eagle and other camp gear on option 2. Ride is amazing on and off road. That paired with archive hangers/crossbar is one of my favorite mods I’ve done to the truck.

This is exactly what I was thinking as my first option. What bump stops do you use?

Ive def been eyeing it. Im capable of the fab involved. I feel I would be in the same cost for a great mod travel soa setup from what ive been pricing.

Thanks dude. Im tired of buying twice and crying twice. Total overkill for what I need suspension wise but I know ill always want it if I dont have it. Working on cars keeps me off drugs.

I had RXT's and found them to be way too harsh. Have since switched to Deaver and they are significantly smoother. I'm running the J66 as I never carry anything in the bed either.

Also running Superbumps, BAMF Shackles and custom tuned ADS 2.5 shocks.

I'm running Deaver U402 Stage 2 that were supposed to give 2" of lift, however I can confirm they give more lift than advertised. My actual measured lift amount is around 2.75" with a camper shell, custom drawer system, tools, etc which I estimate at 400-500lbs constant over stock (which is what these are spec'd at). So if you are specifically wanting to get 2.5" of lift those are a good option based on my experience. Aside from getting more lift than I really wanted they ride great. You can probably do Stage 1 if you go that route but I have no idea what real world lift is on that one but probably close.

Do the Hammer Hangers and their shackles.

If you don't do any offroading beyond the beach you probably have no need for air bumps. Stick with Superbumps or Archive's bumps to maximize your bump travel.

Jd fab even reccommends against even using air/hydro bumps as they limit my much wanted up travel. Good call.

Strange. I gained about 1.5 inches of up travel going from wheelers superbumps to fox 2.0 bumps

Kinda ya. You can hear them clacking back there but it's not super loud or anything. Just noticeable.

Are you running stock hangers and shackles?

Yeah. But on Monday I swapped the shackle out to poly bushings which helped a ton with letting the suspension droop all the way.

im on an SOA setup now, but if I was lighter, I would be SUA all day, especially with how you are noting you want to drive. I am even considering moving to a SUA for those days when I can lighten the load. Currently have an LT front and Mid rear but just had a full bypasses front Mid setup and SOA rear. RXTs may be too much lift for a stock lightweight truck.

JD FAb would be a nice setup. The Archive setup has an SUA version for the shackle.

Jut put a heavy pack on but has me thinking I want for spirited axle movement in the rear.
