Looking for a Lab!!!

I'm about 6.5 hours from Milwaukee, idk how close that is to you.

But I have a black lab and the breeder I got it from is in my town. They are all registered and pure lab. 500$ / per.

am i wrong for wanting a barn lab and not paying $$$$$$$$ for it?

 

If you're not wanting to pay the money you probably won't get a pure bred or it won't be AKC registered.

 

Not at all I've owned two of them so trust when I say you can get one pure bred for a reasonable price. Look also in the classifieds. My sister use to breed them nice looking AKC labs and sell them for a couple hundred. There out there.

 

Found our pup in November but will be looking for another soon.

Super great dogs though.

 

There are 1000's of good dogs euthanized in North America every day, that have a lot of love to give, but never got a chance. We should not be supporting breeders who are adding to the problem and trying to make money selling dogs. I challenge anyone looking for a dog to go to the nearest rescue place or animal shelter, and check them out. If you are a real dog person your heart will be broken and you will fall in love about 10x for dogs that are there. Give them a chance and you won't be disappointed.

 

Possible but much harder to find.

 

and a good number are pure bred. Check craigslist, rescue groups, or FB for dogs needing to be re-homed. I know in my area there are WAY too many dogs needing a home
