    Hello All,

I own a 2014 Access cab, running the stock 245/75 16s. What is the largest tire I can put on my taco without messing with suspension or wheel diameter? I'd like to fill out the wheel well a little more and maybe add a little height. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

265/70/16 is a factory size on some models. It will be about 1" wider than what you have, same height. Not big enough to cause any negatives and just enough wider to look a little better. My truck came with 265/70/16 but long ago I went to 265/75/16. Compared to your current tire they are about 1" wider and 1" taller.

The taller tire will result in a tiny bit less power, but it is hardly noticeable unless you go to a heavier E rated tire. 265/75/16 is as big as you can go without any modifications to the truck and there are usually no real downsides. If you still have mudflaps they may need to be removed. Even in the same size there are minor differences in actual measurements between manufacturers. Most of the time that size is actually a little cheaper since it is more common.

I also have a 2014 AC Tacoma and run 265/75/16 Toyo open country AT2’s with no issues. Well, did have to remove the front small mud flap due to some slight rubbing but I don’t know the purpose of those ones anyways lol

265/70/17. Bought it this way and it appears all the splash guards are still there.DAC983E1-6F34-433E-841E-E456D43B7785.jpg
